It’s no news at this point that Britney Spears is dating a member of the paparazzi that only weeks ago stalked her trying to get the money shot.

Word has it that she’s now made her new boyfriend, Adnan Ghalib, her new driver and assistant, paying him several thousand dollars a week and buying him a new Mercedes.

According to sources, he is looking to profit as much as possible from his relationship with the fallen pop star. He even tried to sell photos of the two together for almost a million dollars. He ended up getting only $40K.

And now the stalker is the stalked. He’s begun lashing out at…the paparazzi.

There’s one area where we might not be all that happy at increasing gender equality: in the number of men and women who drink and drive. It isn’t just the well known brushes with the law of the likes of Britney Spears and Lindsey Lohan: it’s women in general.

Figures from the UK show that the number of female drunk drivers rose by 60% between 1995 and 2005. It is true that this still means that women make up only 12% of all drink drivers, but this really isn’t an area where we would welcome greater gender equality (unless the numbers were zero for both sexes).

If you haven’t heard that Jamie Lynn Spears, 16-year-old little sis of Britney Spears, is preggo, then let me be the first to welcome you to the planet earth.

Jamie Lynn is a star in her own right, with a hit television show on the Nickelodeon network. OK magazine broke the story and quotes Jamie Lynn as saying,

“It was a shock for both of us, so unexpected. I was in complete and total shock and so was he. I can’t say it was something I was planning to do right now, but now that it’s in my lap and that it’s something I have to deal with, definitely, I’m looking forward to being the best mom I can be.”

The question is, should Jamie Lynn be allowed to keep her job on the show, or should she be let go? Should she be used as an example of what not to do when you’re 16? Is it a bad thing that she’s so open or can teen girls learn from her mistake? Should her dilemma be used to shed light on the teen pregnancy issue? There’s so much more to this story than just another teen pregnancy.

Page Six is reporting that Britney Spears made a 1 am booty call to K-Fed the when she was out clubbing for her 26th birthday last weekend.

“Spears wanted to call her ex-husband, Kevin Federline – but had to borrow Hilton’s cellphone ‘because she could not find her own,’ a source told our new Web site.

Spears invited Federline to join her at the club during the 1 a.m. call.

‘She begged him to come out with her,” a source said, “[but] “Kevin reminded her that one of them needed to be a parent and take care of the boys. Then she hung up on him. Kevin said she was drinking.’”

What parallel universe are we living in where K-Fed is the sensible one?

In an online poll conducted by E-Poll Market Research, over 1100 kids age 2-17 voted Britney Spears at the top of Santa’s Naughty List. Paris Hilton is second. They beat out Darth Vadar and Swiper the Fox from “Dora the Explorer.” Paris and Britney are worse than murderers and thieves, according to this poll.

Any 2-year old who even knows who Paris or Britney is, and why they are so naughty, deserves to have their parents at the top of the list.

By now the only people that haven’t heard about Britney Spears botched VMA performance are the North Koreans and Steve Fossett. UsWeekly reports that after seeing herself on screen, Britney shrieked, “God, I looked like a fat pig!” She was reportedly inconsolable. After blaming everyone and everything else for her lackluster performance, perhaps Britney had a fleeting moment of self consciousness. Fleeting because hours later she was photographed getting into a limo sans panties. Again.

Many women are giving birth to their children in rapid succession.  Gwyneth Paltrow had two babies in 23 months, Denise Richards had her two within 15 months, Britney Spears has her two bouncing boys within 12 months, and Victoria’s Secret model Heidi Klum had three babies within 30 months!  Having back to back babies make sense for women who don’t start having babies until their late 30s or early 40s, but this trend does have some danger involved.

A review of studies on birth spacing conducted over the past three decades concluded that having more than one baby within 27 months significantly increased the risk of miscarriage, stillbirth, and premature birth.

“It takes about 18 months for a new mom to recover from the nutritional deficiencies that childbearing causes, so it’s adviseable to wait that long before starting to try again,” said Paula J. Adams Hillard, MD, professor of pediatrics and obstetrics at Cincinnati Children’s Hospital Medical Center.

Before Britney Spears was cutting her hair off, she was pulling it out.

The troubled pop star was behaving erratically the week before she checked herself into rehab for the second time.

“She would get into bed with [her sons] and talk about moving away and living in a world that’s all their own,” a “pal” told Life & Style Weekly. “It’s so sad. She’s been crying all the time and had been pulling out small sections of her hair.”

Spears was distraught and humiliated by her exes, according to the mag, including Justin Timberlake and Kevin Federline bonding at the Grammys and former boyfriend Isaac Cohen allegedly selling tidbits about their romance to a tab.

Heavily pregnant and naked, reminiscent of that Vanity Fair pose by Demi Moore, officials decided that this might be “overly stimulating” for some of their customers.

All has not been lost as the posters have gone up with some airbrushing, and the logo “We apologize for hiding part of a beautiful image of a mother-to-be.”
