I know I shouldn’t laugh about this but when interviewing Meryl Streep about her role in Mamma Mia we get what surely must be the ultimate insight into movie stars’ narcissism.

Meryl Streep has hit out at the growing number of male Hollywood stars who go under the knife.

The 59-year-old Mamma Mia! star said it was not just women who were succumbing to cosmetic surgery.

OK, we manage to get the name of the movie into the interview. But then the rest of it is simply how terrible it is that all these men get plastic surgery and how difficult it is for actresses of a certain age to get decent parts.
